CPMO YEP FY19 - The Fog House

It was that time of the year again for our Year End Party FY19 and welcoming FY20 (fiscal year). The engagement team hosted our YEP at The Fog House, Busay.

The Fog House is situated at the mountains of Cebu. A perfect place for gathering and to escape the busy street for a while. You can own their entire villa from 1st to 2nd floor, excluding the 3rd floor. The place has 3 bedrooms with 12 beds to be exact, 5 bathrooms, and can accommodate max of 40 people. The beds can be expanded so I think 20 people can still sleep comfortably. For us, since there were a lot of us, some slept on the sofas but it was still comfortable for sleeping. They also provide towels, blankets upon request so make sure to request in advance.

          Price: 25,000 PHP good for 20 persons. Succeeding, 800 PHP each

          Van Rental: 4,000 PHP ride back and forth

Meet the team

The place was a perfect venue to end our year after a very successful outcome of the business. Time to chill and relax for a while and keep that passion for our work burning with our non-work activities. And of course, it won’t be just swimming, chitchatting, eating, karaoke kind of day. The engagement team also prepared games to strengthen the collaboration between the people and to get to know the new ones. The team were divided into 3 groups. Team Cobra – Team Anaconda -Team Python. Meet the teams.

Ready - Set - Go

We prepared 6 challenging games in total. It was like a "Minute to Win It" type of games but we also made sure that team work would be enhance in these activities. Each team used strategic methods to win the below exciting games.

First game: Paper Clip Segregation

Second game: Eat all you can

Third game: Cup Flip

Fourth game: Paper Cups stacking

Fifth game: Pass the message in action

Sixth game: Scavenger hunt. Riddle solving - object hunt - math solving

The Verdict

The leading team that time was Team Anaconda but on the last game which has higher points than the other 5 games, the team lost and was placed at 3rd. The winner of the competition was Team Python! Team Python caught up on the last game and that made them the champion.

I guess I do not have their photo 😂. But the champions received 1500 GC (sodexo).

The second placer was Team Cobra who also won 2nd place on the last game. They received 1000 GC.

The last but not the least of course, our Team Anaconda. These competitive bunch of young adults are sporty enough to accept defeat even though they won almost 4 out of the 6 games. Fair enough though because the last game was really difficult to solve. All those running to look for the hidden objects, solving riddles and to form the hidden words plus that mind blowing math problem! 

So congratulations to the winner, Team Cobra!!! Well deserved but I don't have your photos 👿✌😆

Dinner Time

Bingo Time

The most awaited activity in every CPMO program, Bingo. So after our dinner, everyone huddled at the living area and picked what they believed their lucky bingo card. The game has 3 rounds with 3 patterns in Y-E-P format. Meet the three lucky winners of the bingo.

After all our activities, it was a success! it's time to party and make use of the pool. Turning our night to one of the best memories.

Closing Remarks

After all, it was just a game. Nothing too serious and no one made it personal. Just like at work, nothing is personal. It’s plainly business. At the end of the day, we are still in good condition with the team after all those hot conversation on some issues at work. Or those escalations that made it tear jerking kind of day. We are working professionally and that makes our organization the best. People we are working with are very professional and respectful towards others. People here lift you up. Pushed you to your limits to bring out the best in you. And when you need a helping hand, there will always be someone out there who would extend those helping hands. The environment of the workplace is the key to happy employees. It’s not all about the work or the pay that makes employees stay in a certain company. Always, the environment and the people you are working with makes you stay. 

We are not just team because we work together, we are a team because we respect, trust and care for each other💓.
